Drag a box around to help Bob escape each level.  Both Bob and the box must reach the exit because you have only one box.

This was my first Ludum Dare, so I'm glad that I managed to finish a game in such a short time frame.  I was originally thinking of making a chain reaction puzzle game with the concept of "you have one move", but I didn't want to risk spending too long on the engine portion.

Nice work Rob, fun level design and mechanic - cool stuff!

I found the joint on the box to break from time to time and it happened a little more often when hurrying over a saw or hustling to keep Rob from plummeting to his doom.

The limited grab distance is intentional, but given all the complaints about it I see that I made the distance too small.

The game is currently featured on Newgrounds, and Mochi gave it a 3 rating, putting it in the "Good Games" category. 8)

Now to see if Apple will approve it :-X

Pretty nice take on the theme. The levels could get a little more harrowing at times than I might have liked for a puzzle platformer, but all things said and done it was very well made and took advantage of using the box in different ways. Great game!

Not only did Apple approve the game, it's certainly going to be my most played iOS game so far judging by the Chartboost numbers (although that doesn't mean much with my low download count).

Nice work Rob. Sounds like a good candidate for iPads at any rate (not sure about iPhone due to size of screen).

Yup, it's not even close.

Congrats! Also I saw Appadvice did a nice little review. ;)

Did you reach out to AppAdvice, or did they find it on their own?

Nope, I didn't contact them.

EDIT: I updated the first page with the mobile links (free to play).  My iOS rank for "puzzle" in the US is hovering around 400 (not sure if that's good or not).

Great work Rob, just downloaded it on my ipad mini, plays great.

Only think I noticed is the scene transitions are a bit jerky? Not a big deal though.

I noticed the same thing.

I had laggy transitions on my last app and so I just switched to fades and everything was fine.

I've played the game, and I'm planning to download it for my iPod or something. Great puzzles!

Thanks for the report about transitions.  I guess I'll stick with fade for my future mobile games or make a custom transition.  I think I looked at the code for other transitions months ago but didn't figure out how to fix any of the problems with them.

Stats update:
Total installs are about 2k so far.  The puzzle rank is slowly going down for US (414 > 475) but going up for UK (644 > 431).

Another update:  Saar from Myplayyard let me know that I won the $40 third place prize in the monthly contest.  http://www.myplayyard.com/pages/contest-winners
