Well, It's Been A Long Time!

For those who do not know me having only come within the last year or two, I used to be a part of the Stencyl team way back in, I think, 2008 or something like that.  I kinda fell into everyday life as I had a girlfriend at the time, and didn't participate in online forums as much as I used to.  I just had the inclination reading old Gaming Universe posts (http://www.thegaminguniverse.org/forum/index.php?action=forums for those curious) the other day and decided to look up Stencyl, coming upon the Facebook page.  Jon invited me back here, so here I am.

As a little more background, I was one of the first to see the earliest versions of what would eventually become Stencyl; it was a Mario-based project that eventually got lost somehow (I think Jon said something about his hard drive getting wiped or such) and the idea eventually changed into Stencyl.  I think I still have that old project somewhere from back in 2007.

So...hi.  Those who recall who I am, looking forward to chatting again.  Those who don't know me, nice to meet you.

It is very nice to meet you and I hope to see you as an active member of the community again. I am also quite sure that you will find many of the major changes and new features quite exhilarating!

Blob, NobodyX, I think I remember both of you.  Joe, I am trying to remember the nickname, but I recall someone named Joe under another nickname at GU...my mind is blanking right now tho.  (EDIT: Wait, was it JoeFalco?)

I might take a look at what's coming of Stencylworks later - I can't remember the last version I got, but I might have old e-mails from Jon or metziel from before that forum went away (or whatever happened to it).  Not that it matters, what matters is what's here now.

So what has changed with Stencyl and what has stayed the same over two years?  I'm not a big-time scripter (which might be part of why I weaned away from it), but I am nonetheless curious about what else I can work with.
