I don't think there are any right triangles.

Yeah I'm no math expert either.

I'm feeling motivated now to try to work on a first-person game for fun. Obviously it'd be really scrappy-looking and really shit compared to what anyone could pull off in an actual 3d engine, but that's part of the fun. :p

I guess so, but you don't need to calculate a radius/distance.

but isnt sin and cos based on the unit circle with radius 1? so that i need to calculate the radius/distance to rotate it properly? well im not sure because and have not tried it .

nevermind, maybe i try it some time and see i it works. lets end this for now. i am exited what you do in the future

Was playing around and made a game where right now you can rotate your view and move forwards and backwards. Now I just have to figure out how to do a first-person view and I might be able to get something really cool going here.

I didn't calculate any radiuses, this is the behaviour for making the new coordinates based on the placement and rotation of the player:
