I have been creating charater Animations / Sprites using anime studio pro 8. I save the sprites as png files but when I import them to stencyl I really can't do much with them. If I re-size them down they look like a blur. Any suggestions on what I can do to make them work in stencyl. I tried using Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 to modify the images but I'm still not sure what to do. I will post some of my characters.

I'm afraid you're going to have to make smaller versions if resizing makes them blurry. I don't see any other alternative; however I'm not familiar with Photoshop or that program so there could be another option.
Art-related, the feet on the second one aren't matching the perspective of the rest of the body.

Are these vector art in Anime studio 8? (Did you draw this using the draw tools?) If they are vector you could resize them in Anime studio 8 without losing any quality.

I'm a long time user of Moho/AnimeStudio. Your sprites might look better (sharper and less blurry) if you export without anti-aliasing, with a RGB 255 0 255 background. Then you set that color as the transparent color in the game editor.

Why not just make everything bigger in proportion to the sprites?

Thanks for your advice. All that I had to do was resize the settings in stencylworks and that solved the issue. Now I can continue using this program to create all my cast of characters for the game play and for the animated cut scenes. By the way these characters are still just a rough draft so I will be improving them.
