Congrats on this milestone! Sounds like all the hardest programming challenges are now behind you. Looking forward to your website and beta.

Hôla Space Pirateros!

the game is fully playable as far as i can judge (except the last level) which is a huuuuge step. I am using cheat codes to test right now which means that i havent played through the whole game as it is (which i still need to do) so only longer parts in a row but it looks already pretty good. I still need to build out the last level/s because there are two endings and you can make a choise at the end of the game defining the last level/s. A lot testing will follow and i want to add hidden levels as well.

The flow of the game is working nicely. One of the most important parameter for me is the scene name of the last visited scene actually. It triggers my whole system:

...and the test sheet is getting greener and greener:

Testscreen when encountering a location on starmap:

I also got a nice URL for the game where i am slowly starting to build a website for.
Have a fantastic weekend"!

Well done. I'm impressed how you've managed to keep on top of something as complex as this. The test screen looks great, as does everything else actually!

How many of those diskettes would it take to install the game? :)

UI is looking good, especially the character profile artwork.

The game fits actually... if 1) i remove the sound and would use midi 2) if i optimize the few fullscreen pngs.
And i plan to do it as a give away if i still have the energy when the game is ready.

Hola Space Pirates!

i am going through level by level, fixing, polishing, adding art and so on.
Puh....exhausting ;)

But...i realised that my pixel art skills got much better over the time from "not existing" to "not too bad".
Take a look at those rocks (which are still too flat and so on but i already like them):

Cheers!

Hôla Space Pirates,
i hope you had a good week. I hope that i can offer you an Alpha version next week.
Stay tuned!

One quick question for now (and yes its only a detail):

The starmap: Do you perfer version 1 (kind of in a console - which it actually is) ...

... or 2 (without a border):

Option 1, and maybe add a little more detail to the strip along the bottom.

I prefer Option 1.
Upcoming Projects
Poppytail 5 and Pixeltail: Fifth and sixth main instalments in Poppytail series. A Game About Trimming Hedges: Final Version: An updated version of the original AGATH. One Million: Last-one-standing style small project. The Poppytales: Platformer boss rush with character collecting. Skies n' Fall: Boss rush shooter prequel to Rise n' Brawl. Precious: Weird platformer. Christmas Time 2: Sequel to Christmas Time 1.

I'm more torn between the two. I actually prefer the second, but Option 1 seems to be more consistent with the other screens... like the one in your Feb. 22 post. If you go with Option 1, I agree with JeffreyDriver. Some more detail would be nice.
