Having trouble upgrading a game to 3.0.

I dont understand why do you relisee Stencyl 3.0 for download if its full of BUGS? I instaled it and half of my behaviors are not working no error no nothing they just wont work??? The settings button dont react i just can open settings?

Despite your alarmism, 3.0 is fine. Nothing will ever be 100% bug free but given that multitudes of users are going along fine, it is likely that you just need more practice. If you will post specific topics and help requests we can assist you.

Too late, I already installed it. 

It was frustrating to see my 2.x project act so badly in Stencyl 3.0, but I'm liking the upgrade. Haxe seems cool and I'm glad the Stencyl team took the hard road. I'm having a lot of fun lately with Stencyl.

Heh, perhaps I'll have even more fun if I can salvage my old projects. It's been a rough transition. But overall, I think 3.0 builds a strong foundation for the future of the software.

A while ago back in beta I had trouble getting my 2.2 project to load, I ended up just rebuilding it. Doesn't matter, though, you do what you gotta do because 3.0 is vastly superior.

I'd be happier if there was better support for switching code from AS3 to Haxe. Especially if a core feature of your game needs it

3.0 is fine? Half of my behaviors dont work anymore and they all worked fine, and no i have no error logs they simply dont work. The settings button dont work i tryed reinstall. didnt help, if i wont to insert a mp3 or ogg file it loads for years and it finishes not at all.....so how can you say its fine, Stencyl 3.0 is fine but 100 people blame about it....and why the hell did you changed my title? no i have no trouble Stencyl 3.0 is trouble you just wont to admit it to sell people s... if you create something do it perfect so that the main things if not all work.

3.0 works perfectly fine,  you need to look closer into what the problem could be - Jon gave a link showing what changes maybe required when updating your game  - go check it out as it might help you.

3.0 has been used for months, had many games released with it, and works perfectly fine - especially if you create a game from scratch. If you want to update a game from 2.x to 3, you have to be prepared to fix certain things, including behaviors.  Some people have managed to update their game - (I managed 2 of mine fine), while some have just started from scratch due to problems, or simply just deciding to start afresh.

i was stadisfied with 2.1 buth when i upgraded to 3.0 it all stops to work yes i saw that changes that i did, but how can you explain that the settings button is not functioning??? i cant open the settings??? im not able to load any music its loading and loading and loading.....a simple little mp3 file......

I tried porting over BOT... http://community.stencyl.com/index.php/topic,20234.0.html ...and one of the actors got seriously corrupted. I'm not doing anything unusual with the project. It was entirely built with standard blocks. It's frustrating. Yet, I'm muscling through because Stencyl 3.0 is looking good!

I'm busy with the book project, but I'm planning to manually cut and paste each block from my large Stencyl projects... BOT, Annoyed Tomatoes and Project 8. (Heh, 50,000+ people could be waiting on that last one. So, the pressure is on to fix it.)

It's frustrating, it's a waste of time, but perhaps my projects are salvageable.

I install now the old version it works perfect for me....The new one looks great but it is not funcional, not evry PCconfig is the same and obviosly its not functionig the same way 4 all. Lets just hope they find out what the problem is and they fix it
