Dull Dirty and Dangerous

Trying to put together a game in time for the jam. Still very early WIP:


The idea is a top down action rogue-like where you play as a robot sent in to explore some abandoned ruins filled with dangers. So as you explore you collect coins (or crystals or whatever) and when you die, you can use the points you got to build a better robot to send in to explore.

Right now I'm just working on the basic gameplay of moving around and fighting enemies and collecting stuff, next I want to try to have some precedurally generated rooms.

I do like the concept... collecting to build a new and stronger one was a great catch.

nice top-down shooting game.
My suggestions is to put a range in the enemies so they will just shoot you when you are near.
