Ah I confused the image API text drawing with the bitmap font editor.  That's what I get for typing at 3am  :P
It's all good!

Is any extension that will allow us to display text on an actor with an image coming soon?

That's exactly what the Image API lets you do. Please see:

Awesome Jon I look into it!!!

Any chance for 2DL lists as game attributes? I'm a  language teacher and develop games with a lot of text. I use a lot of lists as game attributes and 2D lists as game attributes will make development way easier for me.

Since Im already here what's the maximum size  for a list?

Thanks a lot!

If you were to pass it a 2D list, Stencyl shouldn't have a problem storing it in the GA since it's technically a list (of lists.)
Do NOT PM me your questions, because I likely will not respond. If I have replied to your question on the forum, keep using that topic. Thanks!

This is one of the few areas where GameSalad has the edge. Their "Tables" are really nice to work with. I don't like how I have to fumble around with spreadsheets when working with Stencyl. 2D lists should be an intuitive and native feature in Stencyl.

You and Dom818 have worked on 2D list extensions.

That's great! Why don't they merge it into Stencyl core?

I agree . I used to be a Gamesalad user and before moving into Stencyl and tables are the only thing I really miss from Gamesalad. If Stencyl had 2D lists it'll be the perfect engine for me.

We still need a few days to write some sort of documentation as the multiplayer extension is HUGE !

+1  for AutoTileGen (or other TileMappers)
+1 for FMOD
+1 for Spriter or Spline
Sure, my games won't get better with all the new features of Stencyl.
But I do have more fun creating bad ones.

Great! Can't wait to integrate multiplayer in my upcoming game! Appreciate the work you've done a lot!

Can you reveal some of the features for it? Or is this too soon?

It's made Specifically for Turn Based games, it works for flash, android and iOS (windows export fails at the moment)...
I listed some of the things that Nuggeta offers in a post in my upcoming blog about creating a multiplayer game: http://thenoiqblog.blogspot.ro/2014/04/create-your-game-on-nuggeta-webpage.html

Right now we have approximately 63 blocks (some are wrappers with dropdown menus with up to 7 choices) so we have to devote a little bit more time to write as much as we can about these blocks before releasing it.

Im excited for the Nuggeta Extension and look forward to using it! As far as new features, I'd love to have a way to toggle the auto-rotation of the screen or being able to rotate drawn text. Also, since I build on a pc and test on my android, I end up having .mp3 and .ogg sounds in both, and with .mp3 music, that can beef up my texting .apk. I would really like a way to toggle which sound files are used in different testing environments, or even just a way to easily remove .mp3 files from my game before I publish it into an .apk. I realize I can go into the game folder and manually remove it, but automation is always better in the event I forget. Thanks for all the hard work! Stencyl ftw!  :-*
