This will be my first time doing Ludum Dare and my first time using Stencyl. I am minimal programming background, I am primarily an artist, so this will certainly be a challenge for me, but also why I was attracted to using Stencyl.

Top 20 themes
No ideas come to mind yet, but I think I can make the first few themes work.

Hmm... not entirely sure I'm digging this roundup of themes. But we'll see what happens. :)

I liked some of the themes, but did masterfully manage to break a bone in my right hand two days ago in bjj practice. Makes things a bit slow, but I'm going for it anyway. :)

Although I would have preferred some of the other options, I guess some of these aren't too bad. I'm hoping "It Never Ends" will win because its a pretty simple and quick genre, only thing I'm worried about with that is 1500+ Endless runner games :P .

Here are my votes, partially haphazard :P
Don't look to me but rather to the One who is the reason for what I do. :)

If you need help, send me a PM. Even if I haven't been on in the forums in ages, I still receive those messages via email notifications. You can also reply to any of my forum posts, regardless of the age (especially if I created it), and I will likely reply.

If you want to see the programming behind certain types of games, feel free to check out my "Demo-" games on StencylForge (http://community.stencyl.com/index.php/topic,16160.0.html)

Not today, not this year. But one day, I will join a Ludum Dare.

(If I would join, this would be my vote:

Actually, this IS my vote)

Sure, my games won't get better with all the new features of Stencyl.
But I do have more fun creating bad ones.

I will definitely be participating in some capacity. It is my birthday this weekend and for some reason I really want to make a game to celebrate... it's my first Ludum Dare and first Stencyl game, though I have dabbled in other jams and programs.

Gah, after all my diary entries and commitment avoiding, it looks like mine will be a 12h entry made on *some of* Sunday! My aim is to get to grips with images and shaders in stencyl so my votes are for things that could make cool vfx!

If you plan to use shaders, be aware that it's a standalone desktop only feature. It won't on Flash.

If uploading your LD games to Newgrounds, read this post: http://www.newgrounds.com/collection/ludumdare29

"stencyl" is a good tag to add too ;)
