Does stencyl support tilt functions? This would be incredible tilting the mobile device in the opposite direction of the fish.

Personally I hate tilt controls. I want to be able to play games in public without waving my device around looking like an idiot. I would prefer keeping the controls touch only, but tilting to pull the fish sounds kind of interesting.

Nice, I made the game to 384x544 resolution and used the Scale to Fit (Fill) setting and the game scaled nicely and fits all my devices just fine. It does cut around half a tile from the sides and bottom, but I'm making the game so all the important stuff will be in the middle, so this doesn't matter.

I finished making all the screens compatible with the mobile build and tomorrow I'm going to see if I can implement the same rapid tap controls the flash build has.

I spend couple of days adjusting game to a mobile friendly resolution, streamlined the transitions a lot and remade the main surface view. I also made the fishing now work similar to the Flash alpha, except you move left and right by pressing the left and right sides of the screen, and perform the little hop with tapping middle of the screen.

Next I just need to finish the caught fish collection Fishbook, create a new tutorial for the mobile version and then I can pretty much start adding more fishes, underwater areas and balance the upgrades and fish strength.

I've just archived the LD29 forums. Would you like me to move this over to Game Journals?
