New look for my main character.  Idle standing left pose.  I erased part of the face mask on accident so that's fixed (new image was not uploaded though).

Just found out there's already a game called Replicator… :( Would changing my game title to The Replicator be enough, lol? Thoughts?  http://www.kongregate.com/games/3dmodelerman/replicator

New enemy/vehicle.  I call this the Hamster Wheel enemy.  Basically it just rolls around and blocks passage ways and will run over the main actor and squash him!  Small version posted because it's kinda large.  Stills needs work (need to add more interest to the flat color areas) and it looks like the treads are going the opposite way I want them to.

I thought it was spinning correctly until I blinked. Apparently, it's a bit of an illusion which way it's actually spinning :D If the smoke didn't give the true direction away, I bet you could use the same animation for left or right movement, and nobody could tell.

True, lol, sometimes it does look like it's going the correct way but if you look away or take your eye off it looks backward.  Maybe I should just make the smoke go up… nah, that would be a cop out.  What do you think otherwise though, animation any good, pixel art decent?

Looks great to me; I like all the little details in the wheel. I think once it's moving, it'll be clear which way the track is going.

Cool.  Thanks for the feedback.  I'll also make it so the smoke doesn't disappear all of a sudden but dissipates.  In Stencyl I'll probably have to make the smoke it's own separate actor.

Why dont you create smoke bubbles above the chimney which fade out?
This will create a nice effect if the machine rolls into one direction and you doitn have to worry about having multiple animations (for several directions).Keep up the good work!

The fewer animations the better!  I think that's the approach I will take.  Thanks!

Okay, smoke dies out and also added some dirt that the treads are kicking back.  Thoughts and comments always welcome.  The moving treads still look like they're going the wrong direction sometimes but like Merrak said once this vehicle is actually moving it shouldn't be a problem.

Animation of main actor re-spawning in his replication chamber.

I think you could have at least one more frame of him turning so it doesn't look so sudden. I'm really liking the stepping down though.

I think you're spot on about that.  I was considering adding a frame or two in there but am worried about my drawing skills pulling it off.  Something to work on for sure!  Thanks.

Is this any better?
