Nice game, no negative comments except that it is letterbox which I don't like, otherwise, it's very nice, well done.

However, I think you have to put Innes suggestion into your consideration regarding the 30 seconds game play with separate score or something.. it would be nice.

Last point, so what if the players clicked accidentally on the full screen ads? even if it is a bit annoying for some players, but it lets you earn more, full screen ads are a bit annoying anyways, so where is the problem?
I used the full screen ads in my game after the same way right after the bird hits and the game is over, so I'm pretty sure that many players accidentally click on the ads.. but guess what? I was earning $70 to $90 per day from admob full screen ads before the game was removed from the store, so where is the problem?

The problem is false clicks can get you blocked by advertisers because your ad install rate might drop too low.  Make sure any interlevel ads are loaded/cached first so they can be shown without a delay.

How did your game get so popular? Is there something you did?

Nothing special and I did not pay anything for the advertising, just shared my game in large facebook groups and told everyone I know about it..

Smart ideas the facebook group thing is. Just trying to get ideas for my next go. This next game will also be on Flash so hopefully will see some downloads from there.

Wish I made $70-$90 a day, my car is giving me credit card debt.. Oh the joys of life!

I think developing for mobile and flash in one game is a great idea. It sounds like you've had financial success in Flash, so that'll be good. Then mobile will hopefully spread your name.

Yeah that's the idea. I've had great success in Flash, seen my name in PCGamer and Indiestatik. Hope flash brings out my name in the mobile market while recuperating some of my financial losses.

Hopefully this guide can help you. I've used the same techniques to help My Critter obtain over 135,000 downloads. All organic and no paid advertising.

I'm not sure as well how other got so many downloads. I had my expectations pretty low but I didn't think that I would get barely 500 downloads. I guess it is a matter of luck and persistence.

I think it's luck and persistence as well.

My next game is using a new strategy involving my success in Flash. So we will see what happens there.
