What Have You Been Playing Lately?

This kinda sounds familiar. I think I have a homeboy (not a friend. In my terms, they are completely different!) who has a PS2. I kinda want to get one, as I think the games for them are better than the PS3. Also, they're probably cheaper. :)

Has your daughter seen the movies? If not, she should see them.

I remember when Episode 3 - Actually, six? - came out. Revenge of the Sith was kinda disappointing though. It seemed a little cheesy.

I've been playing a bunch of indie games, such as To the Moon (Awesome game!), the Humble Introversion Bundle (Also pretty good), fiddled a bit with PXTone, played Minecraft (<3).  Also been preparing for the Ludum Dare.

Played a lot of Revenge of the Titans (an indie tower defense game). Also some Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I actually downloaded PXTone recently, too. What do you think of it so far?

Skyward Sword, Dark Souls, and I've got my eye on Persona 3 and 4 for PS2. Never got around to playing these gems, so hopefully I'll be able to find them.

Played a good chunk of Persona 3 myself, it's a very unique game.

have been infected by skyrim lately ... pretty awesome game, its the first game after wow that has this emergent gameplay, where u can loose hours without doing anything story or quest wise.

I like it, although I can't really see it all that well. I've got the only computer accessible to me (so far) hooked up to a widescreen television, so everything's either really small or really blurry for me. Along with that, my "chair" (couch, or whatever you want to call it) is about 8 feet from the TV, so I really have to squint. Despite my own problems, I think it's really well done. It has a bit of a learning curve (at least for me, anyways) but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I did find this nice PXTone Manual and it's actually eased the learning curve a lot. I'm enjoying it a lot so far.

Also got my hands on this wonderful thing called "Stencyl." Don't know if you've heard of it or not but I think it's dandy.

Slowly making my way through Skyward Sword.  Keep coming back to Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny.

But my opportunities to sit down with a console game are slimming.  Lately on my laptop I've been playing otome games.  One I really enjoyed was RE:Alistair.

I'm playing Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition.

I actually got Fire Emblem last year for Christmas...since I didn't get any games this year (didn't really ask for any, backlog is too big now) I thought I'd play a game I got from a previous Christmas! I'm so weird. But anyway...it's fun. I really wish the US got more than half the series...

I got my bro SSF4AE for Christmas, and he lets me play it a little. Haven't played it much yet, but I like it so far.

Playing Persona 3, Terraria, Rayman Origins... a plenthora of games, really. I bought and received a lot of video games this past fall and holiday season, to both my delight and dismay. Very fun stuff, but I have no time to play and complete half of them.

I played some old commodore 64 games yesterday. :o

You can laugh but some are great for giving inspiration or ideas for a new flash game. The games have simple graphics, simple game concepts...like all my games so far  :-X

My first video games were on a Commodore 64. You have gained respect! Retro games are great.

I've been playing the New Super Mario Brother's Wii with my daughter and wife since Christmas, on and off. Great game.
