Ludum Dare 31 - Entire Game on One Screen

That depends on who you ask.  I don't think including a separate menu scene will make a large impact on your theme score, but using a popup menu would be better.

I'm not familiar with the Chrome store, but I recommend using the Stencyl site for your LD link since it's free from ads.

My game is 24 MB and the arcade only lets you upload games that are 8 MB .

Why so large?  Lots of music?  Even so, you could compress images/music to at least get it under 20MB.

Yea I could .... but I can't do it in time for Ludum dare .

I think NG limit is 20mb

Remember, if you used code, art or music/sfx from other people, you cannot enter for the compo anyway. It will give you an extra day to figure out the size issue.

Looks like Ludum Dare has improved the landing page layout!

What does one need to do to make the game appear on the landing page itself ?
So long and i still get utterly confused by webpages ( I gave the public DB swf , also tried an embedded html link address to the page in the hope that it loads but no success

Submission for the compo part of Ludum Dare has now ended.  Any remaining games must be submitted for the jam which ends in 23 hours (with an extra hour for submission time).  Compo games can now be rated at this time.  Remember you need to rate at least 20 games in the next three weeks, and more is better.

I embedded the direct link the the swf for the embedding (the link itself includes .swf and I hosted it on stencyl which keeps that file available)
