spawn actor

How to spawn an actor i use create but it doesnt work

Gonna need some more details bud. What have you tried?

Im trying to spawn an actor i say create at 100x and y at front then i tried every 4 seconds nothing happens

You dont need the 100x part, and if you want to spawn an actor every 4 seconds, you need to kill it at some point so it can spawn again and actually look like it is spawning. check out picture. thats all you njeed to do to create an actor.

You need to use a "Create (actor type) at (y location); (x location)" block. Make sure you use an "always" event if its not working.

Never like hearing that, but i will gladly help you learn stencyl if you want to stay with stencyl. I tried construct 2, once you learn stencyl after like a week, it is a piece of cake. The forum is very helpful and active!

Its just so frustrating i like it alot was even going to enter the game jam but every 5 seconds theres a problem even bought the book i think stencyl is the best i just dont know if its me or the software

Neither one man, trust me. it is hard getting to learn any software. It doesn't just snap, even though i wish it did. Keep pushing for like another week, and eventually you will reach a point where it just SNAPS and you are an instant game devloper.!
