I'll do that, sure.  By 250x, you mean 250px wide?  Is there any height requirement?  On second though, I guess I can check that when I download the Monster Game.
By 250x, I meant 250x250. 250 right now is the height requirement and everything is set to work with that. Width isn't a concern.

If you aren't able to provide "official" graphics, that's fine. I can make do with the graphics provided by RPG maker.

Hasn't been a post on here for while. Is there an update on the kit? I am really looking forward to seeing how this all comes together. I've been trying to put together my own inventory and menu system but my skills in that department are somewhat lacking at present. Keep up the good work and don't let this little gem perish!

Thanks! I just got out of school today so I haven't been able to put any time into the project, but I have not given up.

I also just got out of school so if you need any assistance at all, just holler. I'm sure there are plenty of people who would be more than willing to contribute, myself included.

I could make more sprites in the style I was doing (probably without shading, but like almyki said, that can be done later...) if you'd like. I wish I could make some generic tiles to go with them but I'm not good with tiles (funny, how I'm also bad at drawing scenery and terrain, I guess they are connected somehow)

Thanks for offering. I'll probably post a public release on Forge in the next couple of days, as soon as I clear up some arbitrary code. I should warn you, there's a lot of stuff all over the place, and I haven't done a good job documenting. The kit was built by Justin before I got a hand on it, so it isn't very straightforward.

Sure! It isn't necessary at the moment, but I suppose at some point we will have to consider more original placeholder graphics.

Ok. It's no problem, really. I'm using the same style for my own game, so it's a win-win situation I guess. Thanks to my computer hating StencylWorks, most of the stuff I accomplish with Stencyl is just making graphics for games to be made with Stencyl. But I guess I don't even need to worry about that right now.

The kit is now available on StencylForge for others. Please keep in mind that it is still a work in progress.
