Hello Stencylers :) !
Problem : I have noticed there have been a lot of complaint on the forums complaining about the incompatibility with Stencyl's kits and 3.3.1 . The reason for this is because these kits need to be upgraded to the 3.4 format . But Unfortunately for non-subscribers can't upgrade kits due to a bug which is now fixed in the private built of 3.4. Non-subscribers now have to wait for the public release of 3.4 to upgrade their kits.

Suggestion  :  I think Stencyl should really do a major cleanup :
First they should start by updating   Sample Games and Kits page . There are a lot of incompatible kits here .

Second they should also update the StencylForge kits which common place where kits are downloaded. I also think once Stencyl is updating they should also update the actual StencylForge. It hasn't been updated in a while , here are some suggestions I wrote up if Stencyl is ever planning of updating the StencylForge. StencylForge Suggestions = http://community.stencyl.com/index.php/topic,41047.0.html

Third they should also releases 3.4 already. It's been awhile since we have heard anything about its release and it looks like the main besides the common error of not being able to update kits.

Well I hope Stencyl takes these suggestion into hand :) !
Peace

Jon

We checked out the sample games and kits page a few days back. The new release no longer has issues with these, but we did a light update anyways, so new users aren't asked to upgrade the format of those samples.

We have different plans for Forge, but at a minimum, we should take down non-compliant content.

3.4 has no target release date. Instead, we'll continue the new pattern of dropping smaller maintenance releases (that in reality are snapshots of the current private release).
