Newest Build doesn't PRINT? -HELP

Hey Forum,

could you guys test real quick if your game still prints out into the logs using the "print [ ]" block?
Because mine does not on public build 8502...

When testing on which platform? Also please post logs.

I created a completely new game to test it again (on Flash) and it again didn't print.

The game should print "Hey Stencylers" upon clicking the mouse. Very simple, yet it does not appear in the logs...

I discovered that it doesnt print when testing on android.

I can use it just fine for Flash. I'm using the August 12th build.

What build are you using? My Stencyl also printed normaly before I updated to the latest public build 8502.

I can't get printing to show from a when created event, but it shows up fine when running it in a when updating event running build 8502.

At the time it probably only works with "when updating" Events. Weird...

Hmm, maybe that is the case. I used it to debug in 'when updating' and 'do  every n seconds' events. Since they both showed up I didn't think that anything was amiss. And yeah, I used 8502. Maybe I'll check it a bit more thoroughly later.

UPDATE
On the newest Build 8529 the print button still does not work properly.

Failed to delete file or directory: C:\Documents and Settings\Donni\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\Logs\flashlog.txt
The flashlog.txt is what I guessing represents the error of printing.

Edit : Never mind about the fail to delete , it was something else in the logs. But it still doesn't print ..

However just wanted to point out it works find using the HUD Console extension so you could use that if you want until its fixed.

If you're using Windows and had no logs shown for Flash, chances are this is fixed in private build (b8710).

For problems on other platforms, or if you still have problems on Windows/Flash when that build is released, please create a new thread.
