So I'm sure it's unheard of in this community, but last year I was given permission by the community managers of Sony to recreate LBP in the form of a free, non-profit, and fan-made flash game. Progress has continued to be made for over a year and there has been lots of time off of working on this, at least 3 restarts, but now I have finally managed to capture the vibe of the original LittleBigPlanet that makes it feel nostalgic enough to earn the LittleBigPlanet title.
However, I need a model of the main character, 'Sackboy'. It shouldn't be pixel art, but instead decently animated and somewhat cartoonish/realistically textured. It needs to fit the theme of the screenshot I've attached to this post.
If you think you can create this, know how, or know someone who can, please let me know as soon as possible. The Private Beta for this game is planned to launch before the end of this year to test out the UI, character controls, and at least one level/mini-game.
There's a lot of work to be done, but the project cannot continue until a character is created. This is basically the biggest project I've ever worked on, and the developers of LittleBigPlanet are even expecting to see the semi-finished/finished game. They will also be linked to the beta, and although free, your name will be in the credits/opening screens of the game.
