Java Running out of Memory

I am trying to download a background. As it finishes downloading, it comes up with a message saying "Stencyl has reached 90% of memory" and "Java has run out of memory"
Then in the next window it says "Consider saving your work and restart Stencyl. Please refer to Stencyl ask a question" or something like that.
Please help me with this

Does this only happen to this particular background, or do you get this error on everything you try to download on stencylforge?

This happened to me also loading an image seq made of PNGs.  Not sure how to proceed
