In happy anticipation after Colburt's "Looks like we are getting the results from GameJolt today", I want to share what went on with my game after the jam.
I painted a new start screen, implemented medals and scoreboard system and upload it to  Newgrounds. It is getting some audience, but does not seem it will stick with players. I published to Kongregate, but it is not very visible over there and it has got like 10 views only  :'(
Regardless, I am hyped about my first game release, and I can thank Stencyl Jam for twisting my arm with the deadline so I got something actually finished! :)

Aaaand - it is gone!  >:(
Made a rookie mistake not sitelocking the game and it is allover the internet now. I don't mind them taking and spreading the game, but for some reason they remove link to the Newgrounds. No ads displayed on many of pages. Somewhere the ads are shown, but you can not click on them. I think ad impression information is disabled everywhere.
Pages that the game was uploaded to without my knowledge are Y8, Flash Game Vault and ton of other anonymous free game pages.
The funniest ones I found just with a quick search are a German and Slovenian one where they freely translated the game description.  They invented their own stories they thought would suit the best to what they saw was happening in the game  :)

Is there any point in contacting at least some of them offering to upload the original version with working Newgrounds links? Any other advises how should I proceed?

That happened to me (although I did consider putting on a sitelock and then decided I didn't really care). Maybe take solace in that they were interested enough in your game to figure out what it is about. I found one version of yours and the description looked pretty close... at least, closer than mine. Mine got re-written entirely: Starting, "Marika is not only a beautiful girl, she knows how to deal with the keeper", and she is now on a mission to explore deep corridors and help disabled animals. Apparently they saw my dungeon setting and decided my protagonist must be some kind of eco-activist in a 6-color zoo.

Revenue from Ads in Web game is practically dead.
Its not what it used to be.
Most people these days only use it for exposure and marketing.
You should put your twitter handle/website/..etc, hardcoded in your game,
that'll get you some followers and good exposure for your next 'commercial' game.

As for the plot, you can add it into the game before the start of the first scene.
This way, even if the description on the page got re-written, they can't change the real plot in the game.

Thanks!  :) Your feedback encourages me to continue doing this wonderful hobby! For additional content to the game I had an idea to put some archers to the end of the line. When they shoot, you would need to stop clicking so orge would raise a shield to defend from falling arrows. Also, I would add an upgrade of luck factor, which would bring you positive or negative events. Positive like a mean dog running and tipping people over etc. Negative would be Gandalf who hangs from the cliff, yells "Push, you fools!" and then lets go and falls. I am not sure about LOTR copyright haha, but those were just ideas. I think I will do some of that when I decide publishing for mobile.

That sounds like a lot of fun.  Loved your game domago. Please, don't worry about the copyright.

I forgot to mention that the poster/title image is pretty awesome :D Now I feel like making one for myself.

This game is surprisingly addicting, given that the controls are so simple. I think it has some of the same appeal to me as idle games do. There's some satisfaction in watching the numbers go up. I'm not sure if a mobile version would appeal to me as much, though. If you do release a mobile version, I'd be interested in hearing how it goes.

Thanks! Well, it seems the mobile version will be created after all and I am very excited about that! I will open a new topic in journals and keep you posted there.
