I don't know if I'm missing something here or if I'm stupid (probably the latter). But I'm creating a 64x64px 8-bit game.
I have imported all the actors and tiles at 1x scale (8x8px) and I have designed the level at 64x64px. When I run the game at 1x resolution it looks perfect but way too small. But when I set the scale set to 2x it gets all weird. The intro scene looks good, which is just a basic scene, square, 64x64.
The other scene, the actual game is taller then it's wide, 64x160. And when I try to run it the screen is stuck somewhere in the middle and not following the actor. And when the actor is in the camera it's not showing him properly, just his head and then it's moving along with him. I don't know if it's a scaling issue or a scene issue or something else.
It's all so confusing and I'm guessing I'm just missing something here. Please help me, it's really frustrating
