Background scrolling Issue

Hi, im working on a "endless" game where the background is scrolling in vertical.

The problem is that at the edge of the background picture there is a white line (see attached picture).

This doesn´t look good at all. I´ve tried it on my device and the flash player, same problem.
I´ve also search the forum but didn´t find a answer for this.

Does anyone know what to do?

Best regards

It looks like an issue with the background image you're using. I guess that line is in your image, so it's not a Stencyl issue. Could you post your original background image here?

That's definitely an artifact in your image, not a Stencyl issue. I had the same problem. I don't know what caused it, but I re-made the image and everything was fine.

The issue usually occurs when creating your image, part of it doesn't fill the last column of pixels completely. What are you using to create your image?

The white line you see will either be on the left or right of your image and just needs fixing in your image editing programme.

Okay, thank you. I´m using Photoshop CS6.
I will try to re-make the image.

To get a seamless image, or to check for any edge artifact in Photoshop,

-open your image
-go to "Filter > Other > Offset..."
-select "Wrap Around"
-play around with the Horizontal/Vertical slider

Its much easier and faster to check them this way.
