Why are you listing these? how is this relevant to a post about flash not being dead?

Back to colburt's point. I never listened to people saying that flash is dead. Personally, I do not make money on flash games - but I also do not try very hard on my flash publications. I would be happy with even $100 out of flash portals (wouldn't anybody be happy with an extra $100 in their pockets?). As colburt originally stated: yes, it is still possible to make money with flash games.

Simple. This is another reason why the developers is no longer interested in Flash.

While HTML5 games already exist integrations even to Steam.

Anyway, you highlight that you can make money from Flash.
And I demonstrate the why the most developers look for another path.

And one thing does not nullify the other.

The discussion was not about why people are leaving flash, I'm well aware there are other better ways to make money. I use flash simply as a way of earning additional income on top of my mobile earnings. I'm not arguing a case for flash to be your main source of income, I'm  stating that you can still make money with flash games.

If the discussion was what are the other options apart from Flash, then mobile should have been the first thing mentioned.

I'm pretty sure Steam and HTML5 are way behind mobile in terms of stencyl project earnings recently.

I've only seen one sponsored HTML5 project from stencyl.

There is a stable HTML5 Stencyl game out there? Never knew. Can you post the link? I'd like to take a look at it.
Peace

I have tried to offer Flash games to some sponsors, and they all tell me that they no longer want Flash games, they all ask me for HTML5 games.

Ive not had a single inquiry about HTML5 versions of my game. Im selling to miniclip, 2player.com, Addicting games.
I contacted Miniclip and 2Player.com and asked them if they want Flash games. These are their answers:

Miniclip --> Didn't answer.
2Player.com --> His literal answer was this: "Hi I prefer 2 player html5 games"

@colburt187, it seems that you are a very lucky guy. (and I'm glad about it)

I would like to have a list of sponsors who really want Flash games.

My doubt still is:

Regardless if the game is Flash or HTML5 the portals that these games are published are the same.

So, why, the examples you have presented, do they still prefer Flash to sponsor?

It will be because are there still developers and good games Flash?
It will be because they still use the same APIs?
It will be because players' browsers still accept this?

Or is it just you (Which practically works with miniclip as the thechaosengine commented) who thinks they have no interest in HTML5?

Because I do not see any advantage continue with Flash.

Here is the HTML5 game http://community.stencyl.com/index.php/topic,49130.0.html

Also surprised to read this. The guy from 2player.com contacted me a while ago asking to sponsor a flash game after seeing me post about it on twitter. No mention of HTML5 whatsoever.

I used to sell flash games to AddictingGames back when flash was bigger, and eventually they asked me for HTML5 games- this was maybe 2 years ago. Recently they asked Colburt187 for flash games (not HTML5) again.

I'd be interested in setting up Puff as a Flash game I think.

Adobe announced today that flash will be discontinued by the end of 2020.

https://techcrunch.com/2017/07/25/get-ready-to-say-goodbye-to-flash-in-2020/

It looks like flash is over.

It would be cool if Stencyl would make an official statement letting  us know of their plans to get html5 working.  If I knew it was a top priority to get html5 publishing out of beta and working properly it would make me feel better going forward with Stencyl.

If they were not concerned too much with it and we're moving away from Web based game publishing (focusing more on mobile) that's fine, but I personally would be looking into a different game making software.

Going to try and publish a few of my current games in html5 and see the results.
