Scratch or Stencyl?

Hi! I've recently discovered Stencyl as a long time Scratch programmer. Would I be able to get some personal opinions as to how Scratch and Stencyl compare? Like what is better and what is worse compared to the other?

i have seen scratch, they seem to work very similar... my son (12)  has tried both and likes stencyl more.. maybe someone could elaborate more

scratch is obviously a severely lightweight version of stencyl or vise versa but scratch is totally a beginners suite. I started with it.
