Any way to detect if actor 1 has a actor a layer above it ( in that position)

Hello,

Is there anyway that you can create a code, which Stencyl checks to see if there is a actor above actor 1 in that same position but a layer above it?

I was about to suggest that myself, but then I realized that requires the layer IDs to be in the correct order in the scene editor.

@LIBERADO,

Hello again,

Another similar question just with tiles:

Stencyl checks to see if there is a actor underneath ( the actor must be from group 'UI')  before creating a tile in that position. If there is no actor underneath ( or the actor is not from the group " UI" ) then Stencyl doesn't create a tile.

How would this look in blocks?
Peace
