Setting Up Proxy For Stencyl?

Hey, I'm curious about the proxy settings in found in Preferences > Network.

I couldn't find a guide on how to set it up.

What can I do with these proxy settings and how can I set it up?

Wouldn't you get your username and password off of the proxy server? It's been a long time since I've had to use a proxy connection.

Go to your internet browser options and write down the proxy configuration. If your browser does not need proxy: stencyl will not need it and you have another problem logging in. If you are at home you do not use a proxy unless you have set it up yourself!!!

Thank you, that makes more sense now. I did a little research on Google and YouTube and figured out how proxies work. I didn't understand why Stencyl had this feature because there was no documentation on it., but now it's clear to me.

Hello there, buddy. Actually, there’ve been no changes since then, so you can use the previous instructions. I checked them yesterday when I helped my friend with setting it up. We’re currently using this static residential proxy, and it doesn’t require a specific installation. So, if you face difficulties installing that proxy, you can use the one we use.
