Really cool game. I really like playing it. I have a few questions:

- Did you write your own extension for Unity Ads?
- Why did you decide to go with a publisher?
- How relevant do you think having a publisher was for you getting featured?

Congratulations on the feature! Happy to see Stencylers being successgul :)

Thank you ViniciusAlves.
We used robinshaafsma Unity extension, just fixed a couple of code lines throwing errors in 3.5 and replaced frameworks with the most recent one
We already published Pixel Volley with AppsoluteGames last year, they had contacted us and we decided to try since we don't know anyone at Apple and didn't know anything about how to market the app. The game got featured worldwide and went fairly well so for SteamBall we decided to go the same way.
It's hard to tell how much the feature depends on the publisher and how much on the game itself, maybe we would have been featured anyway if self-publishing, or maybe not, who knows? I have the impression that for us it played a good role, but this can be different for anyone

Well I don't remember exactly but I guess through our website contact form. We made a teaser trailer video on youtube and TouchArcade made a nice article about the game, this is probably where they came to know about the game.

I am sorry but since I am with a publisher I am not allowed to share numbers.  Anyway, it's still a bit early to draw conclusion but we are pretty satisfied, even though average revenue is a lower than the other time. I suspect that the lack of support for any mediation  platform in Stencyl 3.5 has a role in this, together with other aspects (iOS 12 marketplace, type of game...)
