All right.  I've got something up for the jam.  I'm out of time but it's playable.
Thanks to posts on this forum for getting a lot of it working.:
merrak's physics extension.
Liberado's implementation of that extension.
Jeffery Driver's image api contrail method.
Thanks everyone check it out if you get a chance.

Really nice! great design and implementation, the game is hard, did you consider removing rotation from the cube? I think its hard enough without the tumbling. It would also be nice with a bit of camera movement towards where im trying to aim.

About 5-10 minutes. The difficulty seemed about right to me, actually... not too hard to make me want to give up, but hard enough to be a fun challenge.

Cool! Thanks for the feed back.  I removed tumbling off platforms.  I love the camera idea but I haven't figured out how to implement it without reeking havoc on the launch mechanic.

Throwing together the last touches on the game. It's a metroidvainia call "Downthrown". You play as a witch that's thrown into a dungeon and need to complete trials to escape.

The version I submitted to the jam has a collision bug that makes the game pretty much unplayable. If anyone wants to play the fixed version, I've put that onto GameJolt: https://gamejolt.com/games/risenbrawlfixed/410265

Ok, so I completely missed the jam because I was just too busy.

Anyway, I had an idea for it and decided to go ahead and make it when I had the chance. Done in around 48 hours.

Wow!  I love this game.  Conceptually and visually it brings me back to 8 bit era games that you would type into basic on a C64 or Apple IIe.  It plays much nicer than one of those old games though.  Very fun, very playable.  Well done.

StencylJam18 : Little WhirlWind

The Elevation Game has been further developed into a little adventure game. I've drawn scenes from my sisters home.
The kitchen had some leakage and the dish-washer had ants in them, which I incorporated into the game.

It was a succes with my family last weekend.
