Time for an update. I've been working this past month on these two videos:

Special Effects: https://youtu.be/5BROU617SRE
RPG Elements: https://youtu.be/H8JKnt2okFA

Althought they reference my resource packs, nearly everything in there applies to this kit, so that was progress on the documentation aspect. You can get those packs, learn how to use them and that will transfer to the kit easily. And you can of course use those packs in your games right now if you want.

While working on those, a bunch of bugs were fixed and features were added. I can obviously say that my plan of an early closed-beta of sorts for this month didn't come to fruition: there's still a lot to revise and to write, and it all takes a lot of time, even if I work an entire days on it. For reference: 35 minutes of just editing resulted in 7 minutes of video, plus the hours for recording and bug fixes when stuff didn't work. Those videos are 45+ minutes each one. I still want to make a video on my map system, a few on the cutscene pack (either 2 or 3) and release a new resource pack (all behaviors done, need testing and documentation). All that feeds back into the kit, and I'm always working on it while doing this other stuff.

Now for something exlusive to the kit that I worked on recently: this video appeared on my recommendeds last week. It goes in depth on the combat system of the Mega Man Zero games. I've always loved the mega man series, specially Mega Man Zero. Of those, Z3 is my favorite, and I always wanted to make a combo system like that, as seen in speedruns and high level play, but couldn't quite figure out how it was done. That video explained it pretty clearly, so I spent a whole day reworking the damage code to have that system. I haven't tested it in-depth yet (and don't have a fancy gif to show it off), but all the work is done and it looks promissing.

I've also revised the camera follow from my last post. More streamlined, less stuff to configure with better results.

That's it for today. Hopefully I'll have more to show on the next update.

When available, it will be just like importing any game on Stencyl: File > Import Game.
