[solved] The font is being cut off in half

It feels like I already had this issue before, but I can't recall anything about it nor to find anything on this forum. Can someone help me with this? The font is a bitmap and it worked before and only in the latest Stencyl it started to happen.

What build did you upgrade to and where were you coming from? When I upgraded to 10522 to 10414, I had some weirdness with my bitmap fonts. It wasn't quite as dramatic as yours--there was an extra pixel between characters. Opening the font in Stencyl, making some kind of edit so that the font was marked as 'needed to be saved' (asterisk on the tab) and closing it fixed the issue. I suppose that forced a re-save, which corrected the problem.

Its 10537 and changing the font to make it as new for engine didn't work. It's still sliced off :(

We just got over this issue on discord: You can just set "line height" to the largest character's height + y offset in your font, then click "apply changes" and test your game.

Apparently "line height" was wrongfuly being applied in older versions of Stencyl.

Hi

I'am having the same issue but I don't see an option to set "line height" anywhere. Could anybody point me in the right direction?

Edit: Why do I always spend an hour looking for it then find the answer 10 mins after posting?

For anybody looking for the answer its in the EDIT PROPERTIES option of the font.
