Probably best to call a PHP script to talk to MySQL for you.

This could go into a quick faq or pedia article. Darius isn't the first to ask about this, and the answer is always the same. You need to call a server-side script.

It'd be good if you'd add example of such script + behavior screenshot which:

1. Withdraw data from base via example script
2. Set value to base.
