Q: What is RNG?

A: Random Number Generator, found in the Numbers palette. It can either be a random float from 0 to 1 or a random integer from x to y. If you enjoy some basic math, can use multiplication/addition/etc. to make any range you desire.

Q: How do I make...

A: Check Stencylforge (if possible) for "Demo-" or "Mee" (or for any key words) to see if someone has already made the behavior you are about to ask for.

Tips on whether a behavior on Forge is good:

Check the rating.  If the rating is 4 stars or more (and there have been a lot of votes) its probably a good one.  Next, read the comments.  If a lot of people have had trouble with the behavior, find another behavior, if possible.  If not, give it a try.  What if it doesn't work?  See next question!

Q: I can't get [insert name here]'s behavior to work

A: Private Message the person who created the behavior.  If you make a post about it, you probably have a low chance of getting a response on how to work that behavior, as a lot of us have probably never heard of/used the behavior you are asking about.  If you don't get a response within a week (and you know the creator has been active during that week from looking at the "Last Activity On:" section of their profile) then you should either try to get it to work, or ask on the forums about how to make such a behavior (Not for help getting the one you downloaded working).

If you can't download from Stencylforge for any reason, then go ahead and ask about creating a behavior on the forums.

I want to make a fighting game, similar to naruto clash of the ninja's physics gameplay, combined with the complex controls and 2d gameplay something like marvel vs capcom. I want to work with my friends who are all graphic designers, so they don't know coding. I want to create a relatively large project. Is a large project like that possible with this program?

My stencyl is saying that I need to connect to the internet when I already am what do i do?

What is the difference between running in Flash (player) and Flash (browser)?

Flash Player is a standalone program that can run SWF files - which can be preferable for performance reasons. Flash Browser means your going to open your web browser and load the SWF using the Flash browser plug-in.

That's difference a flash player and a flash in a browser- the question is  what difference does playing a game in flash player make to the operation of a game- assuming similar version numbers of flash? 

To my knowledge, there should be no differences other than the potential performance impact of running a plug-in instead of a standalone program.

Another difference is whether it's the debug player or not. The standalone player that comes with Stencyl is the debug player (which produces logs but is slower) and in the browser it depends on what you have installed, but in most cases it will not be the debug player (= faster, but no logs.)

 what happened to the "Scoring Example" in Stencyl Forge? It appears to be missing/

Hi, I am beginner in this of stencyl and I would like to do something that is not how to do, it is to make a character jump infinitely (press the button several times) without modifying the run and jump event, I think I could duplicate it, but the question is that I have to change to jump repeatedly (or infinite) in the air?
Can anyone help me? (sorry if my English is bad)
