Just finished bug fixes for an editable education game, "Poets... Verses. Zombies!!!" that is web2.0 enabled to allow teachers to edit word lists used. It's not 'perfect' but that will come with time and a version 2 polish; I have LOADS of improvements in aesthetics, such as layer control for actor drawing, etc, but had to get a working version out for educational testing. There are one or two bugs to iron out still, but if interested, please go to the web site
http://caldys2.eu/ for details. One of the test examples is at:
http://caldys2.eu/alt/play/479which uses the following words:
People: Mike, Peter, Eric, Dr. Reddy, He, She
doing word: walk, eat, sleep
past doing word: waled, ate, slept
To play you need to type a correct word to push the Zombies back, which slightly damages them and earns you a letter as a clue for guessing the correct word. Typing a word that is not in the list for that word type will cause the zombies to instantly attack. Getting the 'exact' word kills the zombies instantly.
There are 5 other Flash game editing tools (basically user modifiable games) for a variety of language learning activities - vocabulary, grammar, etc - and one more (Stencyl based) due this week.
