Hey everyone, TestZero here, formerly on the beta forums as DragonsLayerProductions. I've been jumping around other forums and websites, but now I think I'm ready to come back and get my games up and running. I'm also really excited for iStencyl, as I have some really cool ideas for iOS games.
But first things first! I'll be snooping around the Stencyl wiki finding what I need, then I'll try to post something really cool.

Welcome. Have you make a game with GS? From what I understand, there are quite a few switchover from the other side. Flash + IOS could be very powerful and you get to make your games with windows too.

I'm KRASP3R also known as Norman hailing from a small town in Ontario, Canada. Ever since i was a kid I've been playing video games. From spyro the dragon to bioshock I've played them all. I've always favoured the RPG genre especially JPRG's. My favourite game/series would be Dragon Quest/Dragon Warrior. I also do some music on the side I play guitar in a pop-punk band called sleepwalker (http://www.facebook.com/sleepwalkercan) and do vocals for a hardcore/punk band called Altona (http://www.facebook.com/altonahardcore). Video games and music have taken over my life. I just started using stencyl and am excited to continue developing projects I'm working on.

Hello, I'm ExplosionsHurt. I'm a freelance game developer. I currently make games in Adobe Flash CS5.5 with straight up AS3. I play a lot of games, probably too much for my own good. Right now I'm in the middle of finishing Portal 2.

I do a little bit of music in FruityLoops, usually only simple 24 bar loops and stuff. I'm looking to get a webpage up of that soon. I also improvise piano. I used to do AMEB but then... I don't really know what happened. I just stopped.

I'm currently looking for a simple tool that can help me teach programming in AS3. Flash, being honest, isn't  very easy on the newbie. It's got a lot of tough things to remember, stuff like remembering to import classes and stuff that I won't get into. Stencyl might be an easier solution to start with.

I plan on writing a few tutorials about programming practises, game design, stuff like that. Catch me around the site!

First post here and I must say I'm really intrigued with Stencyl so far. I've been recently dabbling yet again into iOS development and I'm currently evaluating GameSalad and just installed Stencyl today.

I'm a professional 3d character artist and always wanted to develop my own game but never had the tenacity to bring my ideas to completion and that's after using all sorts of apps including Unity/Construct e.t.c, so I'm hoping that my first "game" using either Stencyl or Gamesalad will end that 2 decade long lull

My first game will be pretty ambitious! Considering I work on games daily but never actually put one together... I know, for shame! You say . I would like it to be a variant of Hit the apple http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/hit-the-apple!/id380858627?mt=8 .

Also I must say Stencylworks seems to have everything in order, more so than GameSalad and that includes a more user friendly forum . But anyways, here's hoping I find my niche in either of these apps.

Ive been playing games since I can remember and Im very happy that I found StencylWorks It is kinda hard to get a grip on everything, but Im a fast learner. I hope I can create a game that people will enjoy.
How I found SW is kinda complicated... First I found this 8 bit game called I wanna be the guy a.k.a worlds most annoying game. Then I got intersted in making platform games, so I loled around the net till I found StencylWorks.

I thought I'd introduce myself first, like the courteous person I should be. I'm 22 years old and I hail from the Kingdom of the Netherlands - never realized until now how that sounds a lot like I'm from Minecraft underground dimension, but I digress - and aside from finishing college I'm trying my hand at indie game-development. Stencyl looks like the most promising candidate for someone like me, someone who isn't a programming genius but still thinks he has some pretty great game ideas.
I've always been someone who's played a game and immediately thought on how to improve it. If I could be like Notch (or one of those other guys/gals) and live off of making indie games I'd be one happy camper. Either way I'd still have a great creative outlet, which you can all agree on is a necessity for a creative guy like me.
