Irock Inquires

Irock Inquires is an exciting, totally original series where I interview Stencyl users about their projects, Stencyl and game development in general. It is my hope to have developers spread their knowledge, and my hope that we can all learn from one another by reading these interviews.

Visit the Irock Inquires page

Interviews

Dungeon Rush! - I interview Luyren and Strasteo about their game, Dungeon Rush!

Rocketeer and the Developer Behind It - For the first edition of Irock Inquires, I interview Blob about his game, Rocketeer, and his history with Stencyl.

I finally got the stupid interview into the post. I had a lot of trouble because I wanted it to look pretty, and what was working in the preview wasn't working in the post.

I'm glad I got to be the debut person to interview in your series. Can't wait to see more.

"Totally original" haha
The style reminds me of the series that you copied copied you but adds a little more informality to it, which I like. :)

Haha, this is cool. Are they all going to be short interviews like this? I've read interviews for game developers that stretch for two, three pages. @_@;

Very cool. This is the kind of stuff that I think would be great for blog content. I think highlighting game creators on a regular basis is a good way not only to keep people interested, but this is also the kind of content that could cross over to other indie game sites where they interview people on a regular basis.

This is a terrific thing to include in the blog, or if we can't get the formatting correct, I can put this on its own page similar to what I've done with Stencylpedia.

Personally, I'd prefer to see the series on its own page.

Done. I still have yet to add a nav bar on the left to list prior articles (since there are none), but I've attempted to preserve the layout to a "t"

I also used this as an excuse to slowly begin rolling in homegrown search-engine friendly URL's.
