I'm sure thats just has extra features. They wouldn't make us pay for Stencyl...would they??  :-X

Well even then, it wouldn't be that much.

Ok, I'm confused, there will be no free version to start off with?
I have no problem paying but only after I get the hang of it since I'm noob.

The normal version of stencyl will be free. Getting Stencyl Pro gives you extra features, such as exporting as an executable, no splash screen, and a couple of more things. Nothing to worry about.

Stencyl is still free. That pricing is for Stencyl Pro.

I'm wondering if the wording, "Make Flash games and test iOS games for free!", might lead people to believe that you can only make Flash games, but not publish them using the free version of Stencyl.

There is also a bit of ambiguity relating to iOS games as well, because it says, 'test iOS games'. Again, this may lead some to think that you cannot create iOS games for free but, perhaps, only test games written by others.

I honestly don't think it would be dishonest or misleading to say:

"Create Flash and iOS games for free!", and have an asterisk linking to more details, "Create and publish Flash games for free. To test iOS games on an Apple device, an Apple developer licence is required. Stencyl iOS Pro is required to publish to the Apple App store."

It's only a minor point, but there may be some confusion. I know that I did not fully understand about the iOS requirements, and I had to some research and question-asking before I fully understood the requirements and costs.

Thanks - to be clear, you don't need Apple's license to test in the simulator, only on the device.
