« on: August 17, 2014, 04:42:18 pm »
Hi everyone, introducing Timbeaver, the fastest tree chopping game on the App Store! Keep the meter filled to rock it in Rage Mode! Don't get hit by a branch or its Timber! Try it for free, and fear no IAP, for there are none:

iPhone / iPad / Android / Clacky Train!
« on: July 22, 2014, 11:48:27 am »
Clacky Train is now live in Canada on iOs!

Clacky Train is a game about railway shipping, with super simple controls and neverending gameplay.

Tap anywhere on the screen to drop a piece of cargo into an empty train car, and score points! Sounds easy, doesn't it? But different cargo types fall at different speeds, and some train cars are fast, while others are slow! While the gameplay is simple, reaching your goal is tricky and addictive. Why not give it a try?

iPhone / iPad / Android / Voodoo Zombie is up! (in Canada)
« on: October 10, 2013, 02:45:40 pm »
Hi there fellow Stencylers,

Voodoo Zombie, the first Stencyl creation from Out2Lunch and I, is now available on the Canadian App Store! You can get it here:

Voodoo Zombie is a sidescrolling brawler where YOU play the zombie. Beat up bad guys, eat their brains to get bigger & stronger. Go too long without brains, and you'll power down again. Collect all sorts of loot to buy items that help you out, including magic potions that freeze your enemies in blocks of ice, or fry them to a crisp with bolts of lightning. If you die, who cares? You're already dead. Go to Zombie Heaven where you solve puzzles to win more cool stuff that'll help you kick more butt when you crawl back out of your grave for the next round.

We will be releasing worldwide once we work out the kinks, but for those of you who are not Canadian (most of you I imagine), it's a simple matter to create an alternate AppleID that's linked to the Canadian store, so you can still try it out.

You can also check out our blog at, where we'll be posting the trailer shortly.

Any and all feedback from the Stencyl community is more than welcome!

Ask a Question / Trouble searching on Stencylforge?
« on: July 25, 2013, 11:47:29 am »
Anyone else having trouble finding stuff on Stencylforge? I mean specific things -- we are using a couple of behaviours downloaded from there, and I wanted to double check the licenses, but when I go back to Stencylforge and type in *the exact name of the behaviour* none of them shows up.

Alternatively, is there any way to check the license and creator of a Stencylforge behaviour once downloaded?

Completed / Font stroke
« on: July 19, 2013, 01:10:02 pm »
It would be great to have the option to add a stroke to the outside of a font edge, as opposed to just the center of the font edge. That is, when I increase the size of the stroke, I'd like it to expand only outward and not impinge upon the shape of the character, so I can get a good thick outline.

As it is now it yields an undesirable look when the stroke is more than just a few pixels. In the attached, the top line shows what happens in Stencyl with a 5px stroke on a 50px font; the lower line is a Photoshop mockup of the same sizes, but with the stroke restricted to the outside edge of the font.
