AdMob / Publish Game Fail (AdMob Failure I think)
« on: November 13, 2014, 07:58:07 am »
Hi there I recently wanted to publish my game for Android so that I could get that API file but apparently there's a problem. I am using the AdMob extension (I enabled it) and have used the blocks and did all the steps and requirements I had to. But apparently I couldn't test it afterwards, did I do something wrong? I have already filled up all the necessary requirements such as the Ad-Mob Published ID in the Settings, and I have entered all the necessary information in the block. (Except for the "for device with 'device ID' since it is optional and only for Android devices, wait does have to be filled?) I have also filled in the 'Ad Unit ID' but it still doesn't work can someone please help me out? Oh and also if you're wondering, yes it also fails on testing it on my Android device, it only works when I lift off and take out all the AdMob extension block.
I have also added the log down here.

Thank you for your concern,
Have a nice day.

Ask a Question / over 50MB use APK expansion file? HELP!
« on: September 10, 2014, 08:33:07 pm »
Hey everyone, I wonder how it would be possible for me to upload my game onto the Play Store, I already have the APK file and I only need to upload it now, but the problem is that I can't because it is over 50 MB and I have to make a license key, I think that's just too complicated, do any of you have any of you have any idea on how to reduce the space of my game? I mean it's a really simple game which shouldn't take that much space up, I wonder why it does? If not then, how do upload an APK Expansion File? I understand the whole business that you have to set up a license key and all that, and I have my license key, the only problem next for me is then to create it? Any ideas? Sorry if this might be a quite complicated question, or am I just a newbie.

Oh once again thank you for your consideration,
Have a nice day and good luck :)

Ask a Question / Screen Resolution on Different Devices
« on: August 19, 2014, 07:09:49 am »
Although I have read a few articles about Screen Resolutions, I still don't understand how to do it. I mean how can I be able to fit my game into many different iOS devices? My game right now works fine but it's not operating on full screen, if you know what I mean. My screen size 480 x 320 (as suggested by Stencyl and a person who commented on my thread several weeks ago). I want a full screen resolution for all devices as you all know, I mean it would be much better wouldn't it? But how? Please kindly help me out because I believe by solving this resolution problem I will also be able to fix my joystick problem. The reason why my joystick is not working properly is because of this screen resolution problem.

Well..

Thank you everyone for your consideration,
Have a nice day,
Good luck with you duties! ^^

Ask a Question / Joystick problem!
« on: August 13, 2014, 06:22:22 am »
So I recently published my game on the App Store and figured that maybe the controller is a bit hard to use, and decided to give the joystick a try. So I did, all seems working on my Mac, I tested it on a simulator all fine, but when I tested it on my device (i-Phone 5) it bugged, perhaps not a bug but, the problem is that, if I click on the  joystick and drag it around, nothing happens. So I tried clicking and dragging other areas and found the spot for it. This spot is definitely out of the Joystick area, why is this? The joystick only works if you drag it on the very left corner of it, otherwise it wouldn't function.

Help me please!
Once again, thank you for all your help till now. ^^
Good Luck to the rest of you too!

Ask a Question / App Rejected on iOS due to Crashes?
« on: July 25, 2014, 10:43:27 pm »
So I recently submitted my application to the iTunes Connect, and just before I uploaded the game, I tested it out on different devices, surely there is a problem with the screen resolution which I will be fixing on the future updates, but there seems to be no crashes when I transferred the game to my devices I tested on. What's going on? How do I know which one is bugging or not? Any of your suggestions will be a great help for me.

Thank you for your time,
Have a nice day

Resolved Questions / Fail to build game (Android)
« on: July 16, 2014, 01:11:24 am »
I chosed the Android Platform to see if my game can run on the Android Simulator, I downloaded all the files of the Android the SDK stuff, and when it was completed a message showed "Success" "please close re-load stencyl and test game....." I did that and it failed to build game. To make sure I'm it wasn't the game's fault I run it on Flash (Player) Platform and it operated well. The log file is attached below.
All your help and reply is once again greatly appreciated
Thank you.

Hey everyone, sorry if this is a newbie question but I would like to know if it is possible to measure the distance travelled of one actor... And such actor is controlled by a controller. Can you do it? If yes, please help me. Oh and one more, I would like to ask about channels (sounds). I don't quite understand about this Channels use, it's not that I'm confused about, but how do we know which sound is on which channel? How are we to tell if such sound = "channel number" I'm working with Sound Effects and BGM off and on control that's why... Well that's all I need to ask for now

Thank you so much
All your help and reply would be greatly appreciated.

This showed and my game doesn't wanna load. I re-installed, it made it worst! Blank screen all white! What's going on? Can somebody please help me? I have attached the log file.
All your help will be greatly appreciated.

Ask a Question / iOS game
« on: July 08, 2014, 07:46:55 am »
Excuse me, I'm very new to this whole Stencyl thing, but..... I have a game that is nearly finish which I will soon publish (hopefully). Well... I want to kindly ask anyone if they know, does the "<Mouse [is down on (selection)] [Actor]> " work on mobiles? or do I require other another block? Will this thing run on iOS and Android? Because the other day I read that it is only used for flash games. So what's the dealio?
I have  another question regarding to publishing (my game), how is it done? Do we need to be a Stencyl Studio? (Which in case includes paying $199) Or do we just go to the Apple Website and do the things we need to? Are we obliged to become a Stencyl Studio before publishing?
