Ask a Question / Stencyl Tutorials?
« on: August 06, 2017, 11:27:45 pm »
I need some good Stencyl tutorials that cover the basics of the software, as well as some techniques and coding block patterns you can use for practically anything. I've used block coding before through Scratch, but I've been meaning to learn this software for a while now as it looks so much better to use.

Journals / Unexplored: Project ZERO
« on: March 10, 2017, 11:03:42 am »
   What is Unexplored: Project ZERO?

Unexplored is a 2D platformer with a heavy storyline and a pixel art style.  The main character depends on which version  of the game you get.

   WHAT?

There will be a few versions released for different reasons. A fan game version will be sent out to some, the main game available for everyone, and an anniversary edition if the game is recognised and remains that way for a year.

I heard a point about a "heavy storyline"...

At least more than your average Nintendo platformer. I have a plan for aliens, an underwater world with a dangerous monster, and reclaiming a lost throne from the maker of the game, and having to travel into the heart of the game.

   How long will it be?

Probably about an hour to a 2 hour journey, it's possible that more could be added in, but for now it should be straight to each story point.

How long until the game actually releases?

Unfortunately, it will  be a long time until this game fully releases. How long? Most likely a few months, or possibly less. And only on PC/ Mac (maybe Mac). I'll post updates on how the development process is going below, and feel free to ask questions!

Game Art / Offering Free, Custom Made Pixel Artistry
« on: February 02, 2017, 12:03:01 am »
My experience in professional pixel artistry is low and I'm looking for experience in testing and honing my skills. If you're making a game and need some custom pixel art renditions for free. While somewhat low-quality compared to paid and more experienced individuals, it's a free, quick fix.

   NOTICE:
- I will not accept a long term project, mostly sparse models and backdrops.
- Nothing but pixels here
- Again, iffy experience, still figuring out how to get things done

Some of my work:
