I can relate to Natrium's post and I am really moved you mentioned me  And I was happy to read all the other names of Stencyl giants and remarkable people that make this forum the best one I ever knew.
I also moved on... mostly because I don't have much free time any more due to family, work etc. My gamedev hobby is now reduced mostly to learning a bit programming by watching YouTube tutorials. I still follow many indie devs on Twitter and I check out this forum occasionally. I am always intrigued is there another cool Stencyl game being built and to see what is up with Goldspace. I am happy you kept at it persistently and reached the final stage! Thanks for this beautiful devlog. Please have a nice rest, gather a lot of energy for the launch and enjoy the roller coaster ride.

Super happy we reached 4,000 wishlists on Steam and more than 2,000 preregistration on GooglePlay!
Google Play will be live before 30th June and Steam will be in July.
Please add to the hype by wishlist ing on Steam or preregister for free version on GooglePlay!

Thanks! Currently there are 1600 wishlists and the number keeps growing by more than 200 new wishes each day. There are two Steam curators recommending the game so it seems the launch could go pretty good.

Almost 2 years after the original Woodwarf we are very close to launching the sequel.
Steam is fixed to 12th June, Android probably in a few weeks and AppStore some time after these. HTML5 should be live in September. PC version will be paid, while mobile remains free with rewarded ads and in app purchase options. There should not be ads that are displayed without players approval in mobile versions. HTML should be free with ads showing before game start (depending on the game portals where it will be published)

Awesome! That is it. The slider bar was full to the right.
After sliding it all the way to the left I tried building the test game and now it is using the 2x graphics.

I now just feel silly all this time I thought I was looking at full HD windows at my lapotop while it actually always magnified them.

Hm, it is maybe not my PC after all. The online tool uses the magnified browser window for calculating the resolution. If I zoom out the browser window to 67%, it reports full HD resolution.

Oh... wait, I went online and found this, somehow it also reports a smaller resolution.
So it must be something on my side with my laptop. I will try more tests later and see how it goes.

I am using Windows 8.1

I have trouble getting the HD resolution when publishing to PC, full screen.

I have made a test game to investigate this, you can download it here.

What I did -

1. Made game size 960x540



2. Enabled scaling 1.5x and 2x

3. In desktop settings I set Scale Mode "Scale to Fit (Fill)" and ticked off Start in Full Screen



4. For backgorund I imported 1920x1080 image as 2x scale bicubic



5. Stencyl created 1,5x and 1x versions out of the imported image

6. I went into game resources folder and hand marked the images in Paint as 1x, 1.5x and 2x



7. Compiled the game and saw it uses 1x scale (960x540) even though my laptop screen is 1920x1080.
It should use full HD image and not the low resolution one.



In log viewer it says Full screen hight and width are 1280x720 which I find weird since my laptop resolution is set up to 1920 x 1080


How to make it use the 2x image? - Please help
