I love it so far! I was running along then plopped into some lava, so I'll have to give it another go later (which is perfectly fine by me!)

I don't know how long the game is, but I don't think that going back to the start is a problem if the game isn't much longer than an average shmup or Contra. Plus, being able to re-play the same parts with different weapons should be fun.

I've got 4 drawings done so far. I still need to create the last and then make them all into cards. I wouldn't mind another short extension.

I know what you mean about working on "important" things. I usually switch between thinking everything is important and not getting much done, or thinking that none of my projects are important and getting lots done.

Wow! VERY nice! The weapons are very cool, I especially like being able to throw multiple knives.

I think these are easily the best graphics in a Stencyl game by far, sorry everyone else!

How's it going for everyone?

Admittedly I haven't gotten enough of them done as I thought I would have. So far I drew 2, then decided one of them is not good enough and that I'd rather not send it, so so far I have 1 picture.

At the risk of possibly sounding like a jerk I'd like to say that honestly I hope others will say that they haven't gotten much done either and that we agree for a deadline extension.

I could make the cards in time if I have to, although I would prefer to be leisurely with them. Whatever I do the cards' quality won't suffer and I won't rush them.

I've been sleeping funny lately and the time has flow by, sorry.

Also, I haven't received any PM as far as I can tell. Was it not sent or am I confused?

For clarification, by "Mega Man wannabe" I don't mean that he would fit in a Mega Man game. He's a "realistic" person who likes to pretend to be like Mega Man (which is quite different).

I just finished one card. It's not professional-looking but I think it turned out well.

I generally like strange or surreal things, so if people could assign me their weird cards then I'd be happy (if that makes any sense).

My tentative card ideas are:

1. fighting game characters - left team (good guys)
2. fighting game characters - right team (bad guys)
3. too-cool-for-school Mega Man wannabee from an old game idea
4. exploded-head-protagonist from "Welcome to Yum Town," a game that may or may not get finished
5. undecided

Haven't started yet. I promise I won't rush the drawings though!!

I'm not sure if I should draw characters from the fighting game, which are purposefully simple designs and would probably make lame drawings, or characters from a game that's only an idea and might not ever be made. I'm almost certainly going for the latter, after all the theme is about "concept" art.
