With the introduction of block selection and the accompanying change to what happens when you try to copy an unselected block (single block copy now), I foresee users, who are used to the old behavior of copying, getting confused and potentially frustrated.

To make what's happening more clear, it would help to give users some sort of feedback, such as a quick flash of the copied blocks, to indicate what they've copied.

It also makes for a better experience altogether because it's not intuitive behavior in the same way copying text is (there's no "standard" that people are used to). And with copied text, you know what you've copied by being able to look at your selection.

Another idea is to apply a subtle effect to the block itself when you right-click it. This would allow the user to know what's going on regardless of what they want to do with the block. What do you think?

That seems like a more elegant solution than the one I proposed. I like it.
