Pencyl is based on third-party code, so there isn't anything we can do about this.

On that note, we're always interested in hearing about any free, lightweight cross-platform image editors we could swap in. So far, we haven't found anything better.

- free and open source
- use Java like Stencyl
- about 2MB

- things that are should be easy to do are easy
(shapes, colours, transparent, undo !!!!, resize, crop)
- other powerful things ( layers ... filters , etc)
- still there are things that aren't logical adn easy I think  ( Text  !)

- BUT It looks like it is updated regurlaly and that the author is open to  feedback suggestions

Despite this small bug, I prefer to Pencyl, by far.

Pencyl is a complete image editor, it is very easy to use and has many more useful tools than other small free image editors I've seen.

I stay with Pencyl, undoubtedly.

I also like Pencyl / ImageEditor more, but one problem is that Pencyl doesn't seem to launch at all on a Mac (not sure about other platforms) ever since we updated to Java 8.
