So when I try to pause game it doesn't happen.
Code reads.

Pause game.

So in my zombie game I have my zombies HP set to 15 and my machete deals in between 3 to 5 each site strike however the zombies die after only one hit. How can I fix that?$

So When i got my new laptop i didn't transfer my game files and all the progress for my zombie game was lost. It's ok though because the processor limitations prevented me from upgrading stencyl. now that problem has finally been solved and i have all the notes on the old game project, ill just have to remake it all. Between writing for this graphic novel collaboration, my new full time job and personal projects, my progress on my own games has slowed majorly. but i never surrender haha and i have came up with a new project to work on. It's called A King's Life and will be a mix of a few concepts ive seen through the years. First concept is like that of pocket kingdoms or other mmo's i have played around with. you will inherit a fortification that you will assume command of. after, a brief introductory sequence you will be able to begin recruiting units for your fort. Villagers will be the backbone of your economy and you must have them work on farms and in mines to supply the fort with resources. after you have stabilized your economy you can recruit archers and knights to add protection to your fort. they can be upgraded in various ways in the upgrade tab of the forts menu. when the player has a proper defense and economy set up they can then begin forming battalions to go to war with others. A battalion will require a leader and leaders are obtained by upgrading a single military unit. once you have a leader you can assemble the battalion and supply them with rations to eat while they are traveling. Itll be like a mix between chess, Age of Empires and a game i played so long ago i cant even remember its name.
The battle sequence will be an interactive simulation. when a battalion encounters an enemy battalion a battle scene will load with the two parties on opposite sides of the screen charging at eachother. beneathe this simulation screen will be a button pressing mini game that will enhance your parties performance or hurt it depending on how well you perform. Game is won by conquering all of the forts in the game. which can also be done diplomatically but havent quite worked that out yet. anyways ill be posting pics and keeping the updates coming. all feedback and advice is most welcome.

My computer is 32bit and won't support the 64bit version. The guide says to install the 64bit version so I'm wondering if the 32bit version will work.

hello again friends. my question today is how does one get started in composing music for games. I am an artist of many varieties and have been a musician for ten years. I have always loved the concept of game design and have spent years writing storylines and designing character builds. basically everything im into involves gaming and have wanted to get into the business and put my talents to use. so any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you very much for reading

Hello my name is Poe and I'm fairly new to stencyl. I'm starting this topic in hopes that generous developers will share behaviors they have built and think are awesome enough to share with the community. I believe this will help newbies like myself and maybe even seasoned game developers expand their knowledge and better their creations and that ultimately improve the quality of games seen online because I know we have all played many games we thought were stupid and a waste of time. with that said if you do decided to share a behavior please give a brief description its function. Hello again. I was curious if anyone knows how to build a charged attack sequence. I once again am at a standstill trying to figure this out. What I'm try to do is split the attack so that if fire is pressed and released a normal shot will take place, however if it is held for a second longer the power shot will take effect. This may be more simple than I know but I'm having a lot of trouble with it.. All help is greatly appreciated

I'm try to make a charged atk for my boomerang. When I hit z the normal atk occurs and the boomerang returns to link. What I want is if z is held. Instead of it returning to link it gains four way movement and can be controlled while z is held. Then when z is released I want the normal function to take place again... I'm having all sorts of problems with this once again. Mainly when the held effect takes place the game either freezes or the boomerang never returns. All help is appreciated thanks

basically brand new to stencil and have a miniscule amount of programming knowledge. right now im making a fan based Zelda game with link as the main character. wondering how to make a boomerang that comes back to link after it hits something or goes out of screen bounds. please help im screwin up
