Chit-Chat / Your Computer Specs!
« on: August 29, 2015, 02:21:45 am »
I thought it would be interesting to know each other computer specs, and to see how good stencyl performs.

My specs:
- Intel i7
- 8GB RAM
- Windows 8.1

Stencyl is in rare moments randomly crashing or giving me an error that it reached  the RAM limit (I do work with big sizes/files). I already tried to increase the RAM via that .bat method.. It just eats everything up. I ordered another 8GB RAM, so my total RAM is going to be a total of 16GB. Pretty excited and curious to see how Stencyl and other heavy programs are going to perform :)

How about yours? Do you have any issues with Stencyl?

Resolved Questions / [SOLVED] Game only works on 1920x1080?
« on: August 25, 2015, 09:49:38 am »
Hey everybody, I recently made a quick game. The game screen size is set to 1920x1080 (the same as my laptop).
The game is targeted for desktop only, and all the images are imported at 1x.

If I lower my laptop screen resolution under 1920x1080, and start the game, there will be just a black screen.
I do have ''start on full screen'' on and no scale mode. Scene is 3840x2144.

Do I need to import it using 4x? I have a tale which is 32x32, if I import it with 4x the tale will be 8x8.
If I need to make everything 4x, what size does my tale, character, scene, game screen resolution etc need to be?

So confusing.. whats the problem?  ???

Resolved Questions / [SOLVED] Actor Death Animation
« on: August 25, 2015, 12:53:34 am »
Hi all,

I've had many questions, which I simply search here or in google/youtube and found the answer.
But i couldn't really find anything for this. For example, when my actor walks and hits a spike/enemy, the moment he dies I want to show an death animation.

How can I do this?

Thanks in advance!  :D
