Ask a Question / How to test the site lock
« on: August 25, 2014, 07:24:35 pm »
I added https://www.flashgamelicense.com to the site lock list. This is the only website in the list so I tried testing it by uploading the game to Stencyl arcade but I was able to play it. Does this mean that the site lock is not working or is it because every game made with stencyl works on the arcade?

Maybe don't make it quicker then, but perhaps make it slightly smaller so it seems to be going faster.
Point taken, I'll see what it looks like. Thanks for the feedback.

I made it slow because as your score gets higher, things speed up and gets more difficult, If I made him faster wouldn't it be too easy?

Alright, I'll make it 1.5x which is 720x480.

Thanks for the feedback and I agree the randomness and the fact that your working for a highscore might not please everyone which made me work on an adventure mode where the levels are linear but I stopped working on it since I wanted to implement a zooming feature or make everything smaller so that you can see more on the screen. Since these could take some time, I thought its better to release an other mode in an update.

About the movement, what do you mean it feels sluggish? Is it because it is based on an 8 ways movement?

PLAY ESQUIVE

I just release my latest game on FGL and I would like to get some feedback from you guys who have an FGL account before enabling the bidding process. I set the minimum community level to level 1, not sure if this is too high. If it is, I'll change it.

One last question about this, I did put my game on FGL and can see it in the new arrivals so I was wondering, if I wait to long before allowing bidding, will my game be harder to find for sponsors since it will be further down the new arrival list or do they use a completely different system?

Alright so I am trying to upload my game to FGL but I still haven't seen an option to change visibility for sponsors. There is a developer and player visibility. Do I have to put my game up for bidding then change the visibility?

I am not able to put an exit block after the condition, however I can put a stop block.

Edit: stop works fine.

Say I have something that looks like this:

Repeat X amount of times
for each actor of type Y
              if something is true
                      Do something
Stop the for each actor of type Y loop so that it won't check the rest of the actors after finding one that satisfies condition.

Which block should I use to end the loop?
