Looks really well done!  Saw the trailer, I'm at work will download it later..

Congrats and good luck!

I did notice the text would sometimes overlap if there was quick events happening that requires text to pop up.

Cool game tho - I think you guys stuck with good style and humor to make everything come together.  It knows what it is and takes itself lightly - which I think a lot of people can dig into.

Congrats.  Love the name, Wrassling... lol, and the in-game simple tutorial made me laugh.

Well keep going at it.

I don't think there's really any 'golden' way of marketing besides putting nearly as much effort into it as making the game, as some would say.

Social media presence helps, with frequent updates on development, and requesting media for coverage.  But I'm guessing most of the popular media outlets get a ton of these type of requests.  So you need to be far enough in development to be able to really sell the idea with concrete examples - not what you plan to do.  Cause unfortunately with Kickstarters, they rarely pan out and that's why people are afraid to donate unfortunately.

Best of luck to ya.  I hope you can find a way - I'm all for Indie Developers.  As you said, Visual Novels are tough niche market to break through into and get funded before anything substancial gets developed.  Never give up! :)

Well I haven't had much success but I'll offer some insight from what I've seen/experienced being a gamer for many many years- games that take off have 'mass appeal' or  have refined mechanics or technologically sound.

While your game's premise is interesting, but from the average consumer perspective who'd possibly donate to a kickstarter, it just seems like someone's spin of telling an interactive story - which is what nearly every good RPG does too with graphics and gameplay to boot!

I don't want to sound harsh as I think you have a pretty cool idea.. But your game conforms to the typical RPG experience, with less graphics / gameplay, and development seems very early.   As you said you have tried marketing a little and it was just a small plop in the ocean with responses... so maybe you need to re-evaluate your project or figure a bette time to do it where you can show off more of the product or find a bigger market to do a Kickerstarter Campaign for.

I really like the idea!

Nice job with the design and graphics look sharp.. Pretty cool voice in-game

I only played thru the tutorial and a few rounds as I'm on lunch break at work.

Great concept and variations.  Wouldn't mind seeing some kind of Gamecenter achievements or leaderboards for a puzzle game.

Overall has a nice feel.  Wouldn't mind some extra graphical flair for when you win , line up blocks correclty, special sound effects, etc.

Nice to see an original idea (in my eyes anyways).   Tho I'd be careful with beggin people to download/rate - it may sound desperate which can backfire!

I do like the game, the concept is unique enough- minimalist style but still sharp.  Could use a couple extra 'flairs' or maybe gamecenter support.  It'd keep people extra motivation to keep going , compete with friends, etc.

EDIT- And yes I did rate it! 5 star

Congrats and good luck =}

Wow!
Looks very nice.
Separating the backgrounds and having them move with different speeds will add a lot depth!

This this this.  Perspective adds soooo much to a games graphics you'd be amazed, ie: BGs scroll slower then FG or MG.. etc.

I think games just need to be more optimized on Flash vs mobile platforms which now are quite powerful.

Either way - if there's an issue in flash , it'd be good to take a second glance at it to see if it can be fixed or optimized.

Game looks pretty cool, it's nice that there is some leniency when hitting the platforms it isn't immediately gameover, tho it still makes it hard to recover.

Congrats - impressive numbers.

Kind of startling that only 30 chose to remove ads out of 28,888 downloads!

Let us know about the tag changing ( you're referring to the Search Keywords ? )...

That's one aspect I'm a little confused.. I just use tags that described my game best, or genre..  'platformer'  'arcade'  'simple' stuff like that which I'm sure has a gazillion results..

Good luck

You're very talented Adventure  - your stuff has some great art and ideas.

I'd love to see this online too but I know how impossible that can be (online networking).

Keep up the awesome work!
