Admob Intersitial ads and banners not displaying on iPad

Using the built-in Admob blocks, interstitial ads and banners do not display on the iPad (Air 1 model tested). Game is running at 4x scale.

They display fine with the same build running on an iPhone 5c.

Is this still an issue in Stencyl 4.0?  If so, does it also affect test ads?
