Ask a Question / Custom block behaviour error

I was editing a behaviour. I tried to put a script that adds tiles to the scene into a custom block and this happened:

I am creating a crafting system using a custom block. You are supposed to be able to select ingredients from the inventory and then Press X to say you're finished and output the product. As a test you are supposed to be able to craft dirt into four tallgrass. It works if you replace the "Ingredient 1" paramater with "Dirt" for some reason, but not when you use "Ingredient 1", which is supposed to be the same as "Dirt".

I am making a game where you can collect tiles. Some of the tiles take longer to collect.
The collecting animation shows as a single animated tile over the tile that is being collected.
If you start collecting a tile and then quickly switch to collecting a different tile, the animation shows up on the latter but the progress stays the same and it seems to collect more quickly. How do I solve this?

I'm using the Tile API to remove some tiles. For some reason, actors that walk over those tiles still collide with them. The code also acts as if they're still there, they just don't appear on screen.

My player actor has a movement behaviour that allows it to jump and run.  Whenever it jumps and then runs horizontally using an arrow key, it walks in midair until the key is released. How do I make it so gravity affects the actor when it is running?

The GUI is an actor. There is a scene behaviour (below) that's supposed to make it so when you hold Shift and press C (how do you make it so it triggers just when you press Shift?), the GUI pops up. There is also an actor behaviour that's supposed to make it toggle between shown/alive and hidden/dead.
The GUI just doesn't pop up when I hold Shift and press C

I want to have an event happen when the user presses a certain key that makes it wait until the user presses a different key, and then sense which key they pressed and do something depending on which key they pressed.

Ask a Question / Tiles and Actors appear small

Hi, I'm new to Stencyl.
Whenever I import sprites for tiles or actors, they seem to appear extremely small (tiles in the top left corner). Somehow I managed to make the tiles the correct size by deleting the tileset and recreating it, but not the actors.

Does someone know a solution to making the sprites the correct size?
Sorry for duplicating, I've searched around and the related forum threads don't help.
